I work in community mental health, and have a BA in Psych. Most of my experience is with people with mental or developmental disabilities. I want to do something different with my life. How do I get in with the federal government? Are there any entry level positions or posititions that will train you if you don’t have all the qualifications? Does anyone know about the upward mobility program?


Do any of you people with disabilities do freelance work from home or write fiction or anything else?

Just to have something to do when you’re bored, or to have extra income since your SSI or SSDI, or Social Security payments are a struggle to live off of? I mean, for those of you who have psychiatric disabilities that prevent you from being able to work around other people, limited mobility or cognitive disabilities, or even blind or deaf or have any other disability?
